On a perfect day for baseball AMortgage opened it's season with a 14 hit attack against a short-handed Nielsen team. Rookie Carson Terres lead the charge with 3 singles. Sean Craig had 3 hits & Cody Clifford doubled twice. Paul LeBlanc dropped down a perfect suicide squeeze to help pad a 2 run lead. Mike Saleski and Tom MacIver both had their first BR hits. Pierson Butler (5 K's) threw 3 and Josh Genovese (6 K's) threw 4 innings for the win.
For Nielsen- Jimmy Driscoll threw 5 innings & Kevin Ginns 1 Thanks to Tommy Bellow (1 for 3) for substituting to prevent a forfeit. |

A solid Panera Bread win over a strong Nielson Eye team under stormy skies at L Street. PB jumped out to a 4 run lead early, and held the Eyes scoreless for 4 innings under great pitching from DAntuano and a perfect cut-4 play to rob Nielson of a HR at the plate. Nielson roared back to tie it in the top of the 5th with a double from Fahie and a triple from Frost. Panera answered with 8 in the bottom of the 5th led by a HR from Matt Brazel.

Jim Driscoll and Matt Frost led Nielson to a come from behind victory over a solid Kellem club. Driscoll pitched all six innings and hit a long double while Frost hit two long doubles in a ten run third inning. Brendan Driscoll had three hits and Chad Fahey two for Nielson. |
