R. taverna pitched a 1 hitter into 4th inning J. Wehner had 3 hits and played outstanding defense. Alex Morrison had two hits including a bases clearing double. T. Smith doubled and scored on a throwing error, G. Oliver-Jones, J. Personeni, F. Powell, B. Smith and C. O'Neill each contributed with a hit.

Kellem&Kellem broke into the win column against an undermanned G&C team on a hot May day. Robert Smith and Reese Linton were both 3-for-3 as K&K slugged 13 hits. G&C fought back with 6 in the final frame, but the rally fell short as Linton closed it out.

An epic battle between two evenly matched teams under foreboding skies. The Lawmen struck first with one in the top of the first, but G&C bounced back with three in the home half as Jake Mahoney delivered the a clutch two out base hit. JD Law battled back scraping single runs across in the 3rd & 4th. The game remained tied until the visitors put up a 7-spot in the top of the 6th. No lead was safe though as a rainbow appeared in right field. G&C went down swinging as they battled back before the game was called on account of darkness...

A very close game with multiple threats by both teams that the teams worked out of including double plays, great outfield catches, pick off, and a key throwout at the plate.
Good pitching by both teams held the walks to a minimum. |

The GRUESOME TWOSOME (Rocky Taverna (5) and CJ Mulieri (2) combined to pitch a gem against a tough opponent. 16 to 8 was the final score, with great hitting up and down the lineup.

AMortgage had all they could handle against a tough Gauthier & Connors team. Both sides struggled finding the plate (10 walks each) but both teams made some great defensive plays to keep the outcome in doubt & to keep the SRO crowd on it's feet. AM had 8 hits vs 7 for GC. For AM- Dhillon Leary made a great play at 2nd, as did Tommy Bellow at 3rd.
Bob Beane had 2 hits for GC.

Panera Bread rebounded to get back to its winning ways against Gauthier & Connors Saturday morning. Big Will McCullough pitched a gem and added 2 hits for the PB, with Steven Campbell coming in as closer in the shortened game. Matt Kelly had another big day going 4/4, Eddie Bowler crushed a double and a triple, Pierce Keough banged out 2 hits and scored twice, and Liam McCarthy had 2 hits and scored 4 times.
For G&C, Jake Mahoney and CJ Mulieri each had 2 hits, and CJ had a nice play to throw out a runner at home from the outfield.

Great first round matchup. Jeff Bates and C.J. Mulieri had a pitchers duel with a 3-3 tie after three and a half innings, But Salerno opened things up in the next couple innings led by Matt Port's two hits including a two run double and Billy Pershing a clutch triple for an insurance run late in the game.
