A fine day for a season opener at Cronin Field between Panera Bread and Jack Diamond Law, with Panera taking the win. Panera sent 3 13 yr old rooks to the hill, combining for the shutout, with every PB player reaching base. JDL had gutsy pitching from Ryan ODonnell, Henry Smith, and Alex Droster in the shortened game.

With the temps pushing 90 AMortgage continued it's hitfest with 13. Evan Flanagan lead the charge with a 350' triple. Butler, Genovese, & Clifford each had 2 hits. 9 different players had hits for AM.
Hitters for JDLaw were Steven White (2), Jack Hern & some kid named Hartwell.
Pitchers Matt Glenzel & Cody Clifford threw 3 innings each. Clifford threw 31 pitches & allowed no hits. Glenzel picked off 2 base runners.

An epic battle between two evenly matched teams under foreboding skies. The Lawmen struck first with one in the top of the first, but G&C bounced back with three in the home half as Jake Mahoney delivered the a clutch two out base hit. JD Law battled back scraping single runs across in the 3rd & 4th. The game remained tied until the visitors put up a 7-spot in the top of the 6th. No lead was safe though as a rainbow appeared in right field. G&C went down swinging as they battled back before the game was called on account of darkness...

The short-manned NEC put up a valient effort tying the score at eight by batting around in the 4th before the Lawmen closed it out with strong pitching & timely hitting in the later innings.

After a fast 6 innings of a 3-3 evenly matched game, Matt Salerno erupted for 10 runs in the top of the 7th highlighted by a grand slam home run by Matt Port and a two run single by Dean Paul.
JD Law's Jackson Hartwell got on base three times and scored two of JD Law's runs.
