Nielsen Eye Care 8 vs. AMortgage.com 14 Hingham High School Sat, May 1/10 11:30 am
On a perfect day for baseball AMortgage opened it's season with a 14 hit attack against a short-handed Nielsen team. Rookie Carson Terres lead the charge with 3 singles. Sean Craig had 3 hits & Cody Clifford doubled twice. Paul LeBlanc dropped down a perfect suicide squeeze to help pad a 2 run lead. Mike Saleski and Tom MacIver both had their first BR hits. Pierson Butler (5 K's) threw 3 and Josh Genovese (6 K's) threw 4 innings for the win.
For Nielsen- Jimmy Driscoll threw 5 innings & Kevin Ginns 1 Thanks to Tommy Bellow (1 for 3) for substituting to prevent a forfeit.

With the temps pushing 90 AMortgage continued it's hitfest with 13. Evan Flanagan lead the charge with a 350' triple. Butler, Genovese, & Clifford each had 2 hits. 9 different players had hits for AM.
Hitters for JDLaw were Steven White (2), Jack Hern & some kid named Hartwell.
Pitchers Matt Glenzel & Cody Clifford threw 3 innings each. Clifford threw 31 pitches & allowed no hits. Glenzel picked off 2 base runners.

In what appeared to be a romp-AM lead 13-4 only to see the lead evaporate against a determined ODH. AM had 9 hits (Tom McIver, Pierson Butler & Josh Genovese had 2 each) ODH had 5 hits-Cifrino, Ferris, Maude,Noordzji, Roman.
Pierson Butler threw 4 solid innings For AM- Genovese followed with 2 & Glenzel closed out the 7th with 3 K's.

Matt Salerno Home Improvement 2 vs. AMortgage.com 4 Hingham Cronin Field Sun, May 9/10 2:00 pm
A Mother's Day special (1 hr 25min) on a windy cool day. AM's Cody Clifford & Salerno's Dom Harvey both threw very impressive complete qames. 6 hits vs 7 highlighted by 4 double plays with Salerno's 2nd Baseman Stephen Townsend turning two.
Hitters for Salerno: Nolan Driscoll (2 for 3- 2 rbi) Pershing, Koenen, Fisher, & Garrity

On a blustery day AM kept it going with 9 hits by 9 different players. Pierson Butler threw 5 solid innings & had some big defensive plays by Rookies Colin Flibotte (2 big outs in LF with a tough sun) & Carson Terres making the plays in RF & 2B. Mike Saleski & Glenzel knocked in 2 each.

Panera's strong line-up was lead by a Matt Kelly triple who smoked it into right center. Irvin, McCarthy, Goode, Luke d'Antuono & Campbell also had hits.

AM- Butler 5, Genovese 1
PB- Bowler 3, Goode 1, Irvin 1
Gauthier & Connors 10 vs. AMortgage.com 12 Hingham Cronin Field Mon, May 17/10 5:30 pm
AMortgage had all they could handle against a tough Gauthier & Connors team. Both sides struggled finding the plate (10 walks each) but both teams made some great defensive plays to keep the outcome in doubt & to keep the SRO crowd on it's feet. AM had 8 hits vs 7 for GC. For AM- Dhillon Leary made a great play at 2nd, as did Tommy Bellow at 3rd.
Bob Beane had 2 hits for GC.

Hingham Police slapped the cuffs on AM's 6 game winning streak. HP's Jack Walsh threw 4 solid innings followed by Dan Fleites 3. Both pitchers combined to limit AM to 3 hits. HP had banged out 14. Replacement player Jack Mannion went 3 for 5 for HP.

AM pitchers: Butler (3) Genovese (3) & rookie Mike Saleski who threw his first inning in BR & struck out 2.

Boston Podiatry 6 vs. AMortgage.com 7 Hingham Cronin Field Thu, May 27/10 5:30 pm
AMortgage slid back into the win column against a very good Boston Podiatry team. BP pitcher Joe Leahy went 7 full striking out 15. AM threw 4 pitchers who combined for 12 K's.
BP led 4-2 before AM plated 5 in the fifth highlighted by a Cody Clifford double. Tommy Bellew & Colin Flibotte both had solid hits and Dillon Leary made another clutch play at second base.
David Hutchins had 3 hits for BP, Robby Madden & Leahy both had 2 doubles.

In a rain-shortened game most of the action was in the first inning with the Sons scoring 2 & AM plating 5. The lead held up but unfortunately the rain didn't. Rookie Tommy Bellew & Sean Craig pitched great. Son's John Wehner went 5 & struck out 6.
