1. REGISTRATION
Approximately 35 registrations have been received so far. Registration forms have been delivered to St. Paul's and Derby Academy by Budd Thorne and Ron Hutchins.
Cohasset's Board of Directors are having a meeting this Thursday night and will vote on a motion to have all of their 13-15 year olds play in the Spring and Summer Hingham-Hull Babe Ruth seasons. The alternate motion is to have them play in just the summer season.
There will most likely be 12 teams again this year. There were 297 people on the mailing list not including Cohasset.

2. PLAYER EVALUATIONS/DRAFT
The player evaluation is going to be held on March 22, 2010 at 7 p.m. at 728 Main Street including Cohasset players if their board has voted that way.
The Draft will be held on March 28, 2010 at 1 p.m. in the lower level of the Rec Center. One manager and one coach from each team should be present. The excel file of registered players will be sent to Steve Glenzel to send to the managers prior to the draft.

3. FIELD MAINTENANCE
It will be discussed on March 22nd., prior to the player evaluations as to whether Matt Salerno and Bob Madden will be hired to maintain the fields.

4. COACHES
Colin Pomeroy attended the Ripkin Coaching Clinic and should be reimbursed the $90 for the cost of attendance.
There are 10 committed managers thus far, Madden, Ferris, Pomeroy, Morrison, Hartwell, Sullivan, Glenzel, Whitney and Lindsey. There is the possibility that one or more of the Cohasset parents will manage if they join our charter.

5. SENIOR BABE RUTH
We have officially been accepted to the South Shore Senior Babe Ruth charter. The $350 fee has been paid to Buddy Lane. Frank Jones will continue to run his own team as well, therefore, there will be two separate Senior Babe Ruth teams.
Hingham-Hull Babe Ruth will start communicating that we will be offering a team and will actively seek quality coaching for this team.

6. FIELD PERMITTING
Budd Thorne will contact Barbara Pye to pull the permit for the J.V. and Freshman High School fields for April 1st. - August 31st.
Jim Trubia will put in the permit application for the L Street field for Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. The fee for use of L Street field will be determined at a meeting on March 3rd. There may be an increased user fee for the extra day per week.
Budd Thorne will work with the Rec Department on pulling a permit for Cronin Field for games only, no practice time.

7. EQUIPMENT
Budd Thorne and Ron Hutchins will be ordering 30 dozen Rawlings and 40 dozen Diamond baseballs. There is no need for any other equipment.

8. LIABILITY INSURANCE
We will wait to submit the charter renewal and liability insurance applictions until we get word on Cohasset's decision to join our charter or not.

9. TOURNAMENTS
Jeff Hartwell and Colin Pomeroy will be coordinating the Budd Thorne Classic over Memorial Day weekend and the summer tournaments.

10. TREASURER'S REPORT
There is currently $8,590.42 in the account. This does not reflect any new income from this year's registrations and sponsors. The year end report for last year will need to be presented before any checks for this year will be deposited.
