1. Field Permitting
L Street - Hull
The permitting meeting is the first Monday in February. Jim Trubia will be attending for HHBR and will submit the application for as much time that is available. The permit fee is anticipated to remain at $300. for the year.
Cohasset
Matt Salerno is working with the Cohasset rec Department to explore the availability of Cohasset fields and will have an answer on this by next week
Hingham High School
$375 was paid last year for the permit to cover Monday - Friday 5 p.m. - 8 p.m. and Saturdays and Sundays from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
The application will again be submitted for the same times this upcoming season.
Cronin Field
The fee for use of this field will greatly increase due to the new $8 per hour fee charged as opposed to the prior fee of $5 per registered player.

2. Registration
The closing date for registrations is March 6th. Elliot Sherman, as player agent, will be collecting and organizing the registrations received and will pass along the registration fees to Susan Ryer.
297 registration mailings were sent out. It is realistic to expect approximately 230 players to register. Last year there were 190 registered players. An increase in players is anticipated with the addition of Cohasset to the charter at the 15 year old level.
Matt Salerno has received a copy of the registration mailing electronically and will be distributing the registration forms in Cohasset.
Follow-up on the registration mailing will include an e-mail blast as well as forwarding registration info. to the middle school and high school for e-mail distribution. Budd Thorne will get registrations to St.Pauls.
Leo Peloquin will put the registration announcement in the Hingham Journal, Hull Times and Cohasset Mariner.

3. Managers
It is anticipated that there will be between 10-13 teams. So far there have been 7 managers that have committed: Madden, Ferris, Koenen, Pomroy, Hartwell, Morrison and Glenzel.
Steve Glenzel will follow-up on other manager candidates.

4. Equipment
There are 13 complete sets of jerseys in storage. It will be necessary to purchase hats and socks. All uniform sets from last year have now been collected.
It will not be necessary to purchase any equipment with the exception of 30 dozen Rawlings and 40 dozen Diamond baseballs and a number of 30" bats. Prices for 30" bats will be obtained by Budd Thorne.

5. Treasurer's Report
There is currently a balance of $9,570 with outstanding bills just received of $92.00 for the post office box for the year and $249.04 for this year's registration mailing.

6. Season
The spring season will start on Monday, April 26th and will end on approximately June 18th.
The summer season will start on June 25th. Districts will start on July 5th.

7. Sponsors
It will cost $400 to sponsor a team which is the same cost as last year. Leo Peloquin will be following up with last year's sponsors and will be seeking suggestions for new sponsors to be approached.
It was suggested that we provide our sponsors with sponsor appreciation plaques this year. Melissa Flanagan will look into this.

8. Senior Babe Ruth
Babe Ruth National in New Jersey has signed off on the approval of the inclusion of a Senior Babe Ruth team in the Hingham-Hull-Cohasset charter. Babe Ruth National has been notified that Hingham-Hull-Cohasset will have two Senior Babe Ruth teams this upcoming season.
Frank Jones has requested that Mark Igo call him and Mark will follow-up on this.

9. Field Maintenance
Bob Madden and Matt Salerno have expressed an interest in doing field maintenance for the upcoming season on a more formal basis that would include payment for this service. This needs to be followed-up on.

10. Next Meeting
The next Board of Directors Meeting will be held on February 22nd. at 7 p.m. at 738 Main Street.
